When the dedicated staff at Diversicare Pell City in Alabama joined the RWDSU Mid‑South Council earlier this year, they knew they were taking a bold step into the fight for justice and recognition. In a powerful step forward for worker justice in the South, nursing home workers in Alabama have voted overwhelmingly to join the RWDSU Mid-South Council, winning their union election and their seat at the table.
