Workers at DHL in Union City, Georgia, overwhelmingly voted in favor of the RWDSU today, rejecting the company’s union busters and their lies and misinformation. The workers saw through the company’s anti-union campaign and are celebrating their huge victory as they have officially won their RWDSU union election.
The RWDSU has scored another major nursing home victory, this time at Mountain View Care & Rehab Center in Scranton, Pennsylvania. A unit of 76 certified nursing assistant employees remained united and overwhelmingly voted 35-2 to be represented by the RWDSU. The RWDSU currently represents hundreds of nursing home employees in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Today, the Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union (RWDSU), announced that the workers at Vosges Chocolate Store in Soho, New York City, voted unanimously to be represented by the RWDSU in their fight for a voice and fair treatment in the workplace, as well as job security and fair wages through a collective bargaining agreement.
Over 40 workers at two separate dialysis centers voted overwhelmingly to join the RWDSU Mid-South Council, sticking together through six weeks of anti-union rhetoric. The anti-union campaign included management bringing in union-busting “consultants” to shut down the organizing drive, but workers Fresenius Kidney Care in Mobile, Alabama, were undaunted in their desire to win a union voice and make their jobs better.
