RWDSU ENDORSES ANTONIO REYNOSO FOR CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT 7 (NY-7)
(NEW YORK, NY) – Today, the Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union (RWDSU) announced its endorsement of Antonio Reynoso for New York’s 7th Congressional District (NY-7). The endorsement highlights Reynoso’s career-long commitment to New York’s working families and his proven record of standing on the front lines with union members in their fight for dignity, safety, and fair contracts. From his tenure as an organizer to his time in the New York City Council and his leadership as Borough President, Antonio Reynoso has consistently demonstrated that he understands the needs of the people who move New York’s economy. Whether advocating for affordable housing or championing landmark worker protections, Reynoso has never wavered in his support for the labor movement and RWDSU members.
The RWDSU’s members who live and work across New York City’s NY-7 will begin their work in support of Reynoso’s campaign spreading the word among fellow members who work in grocery and non-food retail, department stores, pharmaceutical and recreational cannabis, food service, building maintenance, at area airports, in warehousing and distribution and other industries in the city.

“Antonio Reynoso isn’t just a supporter of labor; he is a partner who shows up when the stakes are highest. When our members at Barnes & Noble were at the bargaining table fighting for the fair contract, Antonio was right there with us, lending his voice and his office to our members. He understands that a strong New York depends on strong unions, and we know he will bring that same grit and dedication to the halls of Congress. Antonio has spent his life fighting for the people of Brooklyn and Queens, and the RWDSU is proud to stand with him as he takes that fight to Washington.”
