RWDSU Local 1102 brought together stewards from across industries for two-days of intermediate and advanced training, which was the first time members from so many different workplaces gathered for a joint event focused on education, empowerment, and solidarity. RWDSU Local 513 members in Wilmington, MA at Canteen have overwhelmingly ratified a new five-year contract, securing strong gains and continued stability for all workers. The contract was approved 100% by voting members, reflecting unity and confidence in the union’s bargaining efforts.
More than 100 RWDSU members from across the Midwest region and the Tennessee District Council and more gathered in Indianapolis, Indiana on October 3–4 for the annual RWDSU 6-State Conference. The two-day event focused on strengthening our union through education, organizing, and solidarity and has now gone far beyond 6-states bringing a wide span of training and solidarity across the RWDSU.
