Your Voice, Your Power: RWDSU Local 108 Members Get Ready to Vote in the NJ Primary
With the New Jersey Democratic primary just around the corner, union members across the state are stepping up to make sure their voices are heard at the ballot box. At a time when workers’ rights, wages, and workplace safety are on the line, voter registration isn’t just important—it’s essential.
That’s why RWDSU Local 108 recently hit the road, visiting worksites across the state to speak directly with members about the upcoming election, voter registration deadlines, and where and how to cast their votes.

During these recent shop visits, union representatives distributed voter registration forms, helped members check their registration status, and shared information about polling places and early voting options. These face-to-face conversations emphasized one powerful truth: when union members vote, working families win.
“Our goal was simple—make sure every one of our members knows their rights and is ready to vote,” said Charles N. Hall Jr., President RWDSU Local 108. “We spoke with members about how important Primary Elections are and that decisions made locally and in Trenton directly impact their communities, their paychecks, and their strength at the bargaining table. Voting is how we protect our future.”
