RWDSU ENDORSES ADRIANO ESPAILLAT FOR RE-ELECTION TO CONGRESS (NY-13)

(NEW YORK, NY) – Today, the Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union (RWDSU) formally announced its endorsement of Adriano Espaillat for New York’s 13th Congressional District (NY-13). The RWDSU’s members who live and work across Upper Manhattan and the Bronx in NY-13 have been working in support of Espaillat’s campaign spreading the word among fellow members who work in grocery and non-food retail, department stores, pharmacies, in food service, building maintenance, at area airports, in warehousing and distribution and other industries in the city.

The endorsement highlights Espaillat’s career-long commitment to New York’s working families and his proven record of standing on the front lines with union members in their fight for dignity, safety, and fair contracts. From his leadership in the New York State Legislature to his tenure in the United States House of Representatives, Adriano Espaillat has consistently demonstrated that he understands the needs of the people who move New York’s economy. Whether advocating for immigrant rights, protecting affordable housing, or championing landmark federal worker protections, Espaillat has never wavered in his support for the labor movement and RWDSU members.
