After five months of intensive negotiations, members of RWDSU Local 1102 have overwhelmingly ratified a landmark three-year agreement with retail giant H&M. This victory, affecting more than 1,000 workers, marks a significant turning point for retail labor standards across the country.
Members at DeCicco & Sons overwhelmingly approved a new three-year contract that delivers wage increases and protects essential medical, dental, vision, and prescription benefits.
Members of Local 338 RWDSU overwhelmingly ratified a new five-year collective bargaining agreement that strengthens and safeguards what matters most to the 2,400 members working for one of the largest grocery chains in the Northeast.
On September 9–10, RWDSU members at TreeHouse Foods in Farmers Branch, Texas took an important step forward by exercising language in their collective bargaining agreement (CBA). The TreeHouse CBA includes a provision requiring training for stewards and supervisors, conducted by the Federal Mediation Conciliation Services (FMCS), with the company covering costs and lost wages. But in practice, this clause has not recently been regularly utilized. This year, the RWDSU Tennessee District Council made sure that changed. With FMCS unable to provide the training under the current administration, the National Mediation Conciliation Services (NMCS) stepped in.
