Today, the Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union (RWDSU) announced that workers at the Patagonia store in SoHo voted unanimously to join the union over the weekend. The vote marks a historic milestone for employees of the outdoor apparel giant, as they become the first unionized Patagonia location in the eastern United States.

RWDSU members working for the Berlin Borough street crew have overwhelmingly ratified a new three-year collective bargaining agreement. The contract delivers critical improvements to wages, safety equipment, and family security for the workers who maintain the borough’s essential infrastructure.

After a focused contract campaign, members at Valley View Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation have voted to ratify a new three-year agreement. Represented by RWDSU Local 139, the bargaining unit stood firm to secure a contract that delivers essential improvements to wages, benefits, and workplace protections.

Over the past year, RWDSU Local 1102 made a bold decision. Instead of waiting for their contracts to expire at three Flying Food Group locations, they strategically chose to open them a full year early, an uncommon step that spoke volumes about the strength they had built through solidarity and action. It was a clear message: we are ready, and we are united.
